Protection for a sound environment

There are several major diseases transmitted via animals or insects to human beings. Those transmitters, or better vectors, have to be controlled in order to prevent disastrous spreading of epidemias. Virtually all diseases subject to vector transmission do belong to the most dangerous ones, sometimes with pharmaceutical means for protection or cure.

Vector control therefore is the major element of public health.

Most commonly known, Malaria, a serious disease common to Africa, Asia and the Middle East, is transmitted by mosquitoes.

Apart of traditonal means for personal protection, the breeding areas of mosquitoes have to be treated in order to control their population.

Cockroaches are filthy in their habits. They breed in dark, warm places and are vectors of several food born diseases. Infestations of households and public places with cockroaches are serious health risks.

Rodents and subsequently fleas have been responsible for death of millions. They carry in their excrements harmfull microorganisms and transmit via  intermediates (i.e. fleas) blood carried diseases. Rodents are a problem since man stores food and provides central canalisations in his municipalities. Rodents have to be controlled as well in ports and other handling areas.

Vector control is always a balance between preventing human health from risks and releasing toxic substances into the environment.

Therefore it is mandatory in public health services, to use up-to-date products with least possible concentrations and appropriate application techniques and time.

At AGBM we offer a full range of products for provessional vector control, households and personal protection and provide application consultation as well as services.
