Low in toxicity but high in efficacy

Our production of technical grade active ingredients makes use of botanical sources for the extraction of potent substances. These are then used for the control of pest populations in order to keep them under the economic threshold level and for control of fungal diseases.

Here we are concentrating on active substances derived from Azadirachta Indica and Chrysanthemum cinerariaefolium.

Chyrsanthemum cinerariaefolium, also known as pyrethrum yields, after extraction, an ester compound containing natural pyrethrins. Pyrethrins are effective insecticdes exhibiting a fast knock-down effect to virtually all insects, and,   if    formulated   with  a synergist, lead to immediate mortality.

Pyrethrins are primarily effective as contact poison and do effect the insects central nervous system.

They are non-toxic to most mammals and have become the leading compound for natural pest control.

Extracts from Azadirachta indica have been used since centuries for the control of insect pests and fungal diseases. Extraction yields a compound of different bitter limonids and triterpenoids which control effectively a large number of insects. One of the most remarkable properties of our product is that insects lack to build up resistance.

The complex compounds contained in the extract makes it virtually impossible for insects to gain resistance against it.

Being non-toxic to mammals and even protecting natural predators, our Azadirachta based products are ideal tools for plant protection in both, organic and integrated farming.

At AGBM, we use propietary technologies to extract active ingredients of high purity and manufacture subsequent stable formulations for use in agricultural applications.

Our in-house research is focused on the development of other botanicals and on formulations for case specific applications.

Integrated farming requires the most up-to-date input materials in order to cope with the enhanced requirements of this kind of farming.

Our formulation experts strive for the early introduction of last generation generic agrochemicals at affordable prices in our markets. Being commited to the protection of our environment, we at AGBM do concentrate on substances which are known to be general safe or are only slightly hazardous according to the classification issued by the World Health Organisation (WHO).

Our production program includes

  • Insecticides

Insecticides we are formulating belong to the group of insect growth regulators, nicotinoids and pyrazoles.

  • Fungicides

Chemical classes we are focusing on are aliphatic, anilide, antibiotic, conazole, copper and oxazole fungicides.

  • Herbicides

Herbicides in our portfolio are based on diphenyl ether and imidazoline compounds.
