Organic farming, although originating in the early 19th century, has
found only in the last decade much support from the public, governments and other organisations.
Triggered not only by food desasters, a growing number of consumers
have realised, that conventional produced crops may cause health risks and that this specific production method contributes heavily to the pollution of our environment.
Organic farming differs substantially from other farming methods. It
is based on primary use of renewable on-farm ressources.
Plant Protection is based on natural occuring substances, enhancement
of plant health and promotion of pest predators.
Fertilisation makes use of recycable organic waste material to return
nutrients back to their origin.
Synthetic pesticides, herbicides and chemical fertilisers are strictly forbidden.
